Hello,
I really want to get into club building but I’m overwhelmed by the amount of tools and equipment available.
What are the essential things that I need? I’d like to start by building a driver, a putter, and a couple of wedges.
Is someone willing to make me a list of what REALLY is essential to get started? I have a lot of basic tools but I know there are some specific things that I need to purchase.
Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

If you don’t know this information, why do you suspect that you can make clubs?

What a reply from him! At a minimum you will need a cheap rubber shaft holder, a vise, a razor knife, 30/60 shaft epoxy, ferrules for the size shaft you are using, a fine tooth hacksaw, medium sandpaper, grip tape and grip solvent. I use spray brake parts cleaner for grip solvent as it leaves no residue, dries fast and is cheap. Take a look at golfsmith.com/clubmaking or /tools. Good luck, have fun and make sure to measure yourself to fit them properly. There are many measurement charts around. Do a search. Golfsmith has a club making forum that has a few on there.
