I use Ez-Soft to converter my videos for my iPod Classic. Everything was working well but my old laptop was dying and I decided to replace it. The new laptop runs Vista with Service Pack #1 installed. Ez-Soft always worked but when I loaded it (I have a licensed copy) on my new laptop I could still run the DVD Converter but not the video converter. Each time that I try to run the video converter Microsoft indicates that there was a problem and the program has been stopped. A report is sent to Microsoft and they have responded with a solution of installing the latest version of Adobe which I have done and there is no difference.
I have tried to contact Ez-Soft support but they have not returned any of my email ( I have sent four now).
Has anyone experienced a problem such as this and if sohow did you get around it. If no one has an answer I would greatly appreciate it as I would like to be able to update my iPod after changing laptops. If this has not happened to you and you know of another board that I should go to please pass it on to me.

The setting are correct for MP4 as I have used this program for quite some time but the problem appeared when I changed from XP to Vista. The DVD portion of the package still works but the video application does not work and causes the application to stop. Any other suggestions?

Perhaps I am haver not been clear. I have a converter that is seetup for MP4/iPod and it was functioning well until I changed my computer. Now with Vista the settings are correct but the program fails everytime using Vista – does anyone know of issues with Vista. The response that I got from Microsoft was that I needed to load Adobe 10.0 which is already loaded. I am at a loss.
Based on all of the feedback and the lack of support from Ez-Soft (they never responded to my queries and there were four of them) I have decided to go with another Conversion package. I cose Applian Capture Suite that gives me everything that I was looking forand their support has been top notch.
