Email marketing soft

I don’t use fabric softner (which you’re not meant to), and I hang them out on the line in half (as this apparently keeps them softer, towels too). What else can I do to keep them soft? I have some new ones and some old ones, and the older ones are a little scratchy in comparison to the new ones. Any tips?
